Meet the secretary/acting president

Emily Crawford is the current Secretary and Acting President of TU Dublin’s LGBTQ+ Society. The official society president; Seumas Bracken, who you may have read about in the last issue of The Queery is off to the magical land of college placement and has left the society in the semi-capable hands of Emily. 

Emily is a student of Journalism and is here on a sports scholarship. Emily is an equestrian (AKA a horse girly) and her and her horse Peggy have a special bond and have been through many equestrian competitions together. Emily has a dog called Polka who is a dalmatian, and according to a source close to Emily “the dog speaks”. What does that mean? Who knows. Emily is also the Acting President of TU Dublin’s Societies Forum Executive - is there anything this girl cannot do? I have no idea. 

Emily is also a hardcore lesbian. her girlfriend, the lovely Mia, is the Vice Events Officer of the Bród Society in UG and now the honorary 2nd Lady of the TU Dublin LGBTQ+ Society. 

 Emily Interns at GCN - Ireland’s top outlet for gay news and entertainment. In the short time she has worked there, Emily has already published 6 amazing stories. God, I wish I could write like that 🙁. 

In Emily Crawford is the woman who does it all and I will never know how she does it, but we are so lucky to have her as our Secretary and Acting President.
