Owners of queer bar destroyed by storm Helene raise $191,000 to rebuild

Husbands Brandon Davis and Davie Davis have raised $191,000 after their bar DayTrip was decimated by Storm Helene. DayTrip was built by the couple to be a queer safe space hosting events, fundraisers, Burlesque shows etc. A friend of the couple started set up the GoFundMe for them with an original goal of $180,000 which they have now surpassed.
